Post It holders

Pegué los papeles de puntitos
y los Post its a la base
Materiales!

Luego los stickers
y usé foam para realzar
Para terminar decoré la portada
y listo!

Holiday Card Workshop Day 5 – His and Hers Holiday Cards

This is my feminine version for day 5!

Holiday Card Workshop Day 5 – His and Hers Holiday Cards

For day 5 i followed Kelly's technique. This is my masculine version! O well, it could be unisex i guess :)

Holiday Card Workshop - Day 4

This is my second card for day 4 using the same technique, i used a tree stamp from Kaiser Craft. There are a lot of textures in the trees so i guess my Merry Christmas sentiment got a little lost in there! But well I loved the result! :)

Holiday Card Workshop - day 4

This card is also from day 4. Kelly Alvarez show us in her video a 4x9 card.
I already had my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card trimmed so i used this size.

But what i loved the most about her card, was the idea of the heart hanging. So i used this concept for my card by hanging this 3 christmas ornaments and i loved the result! I think the whole idea works great with the greeting.
I like the movement of the ornaments, so I didn't adhere them to the paper.
I used a recycled paper bag for this card :) it's difficult to find kraft paper here in Mexico they only sell it in rolls. The paper of the bag was really thin, but well worked out perfect! :)

Holiday Card Workshop - day 4

I haven't post anything lately on my blog, but finally i'm back! Right now i am taking the Holiday Card Workshop and finally got the time to finish a few cards from Day 4. I tried this technique embossing over stamp images or viceversa. I found out that it's easier for me to start stamping all the images and do the embossing afterwards, this way the image is more clean and clear! Hope you like my cards!

Birthday card!

Hi, this is a card for the Birthday card challenge in the Moxie Fab World! It's for one of my best friends who is turning 31. I love the background of this card, because of the paper being so thin, it cracked a little bit through the cuttlebug machine, giving the paper a distress kind of look. For this project a use the envelope punch board from We R Memory Keepers, it's a great tool! you'll have a perfect envelope in minutes, love it!

Summer Card Camp - Week Two - Day 5

Hi! Today is the last day of the second week of my summer card camp and here is my card for the day. I did the layered stamped vellum card using the color scheme #4. Love this great idea to layer different stamped papers!

Summer Card Camp - Week Two - Day 3

So this is day 3! I really loved this card! It's called a shaker box card. I guess this is my first interactive card i've done so far, and i enjoyed so much making it!

But anyways, this is my shaker box, i didn't have any beads or glitter paper for the confetti to put inside, so i used chipboard shapes instead.

I just realized i have so many new supplies to buy and my Simon Says wish list is growing bigger everyday the summer card camp passes by! oops :) haha but well.. Thanks for visiting!

Summer Card Camp - Week Two - Day 2

For day two, i made another card using the tone-on-tone embossing technique. I love the way this card looks; so simple but elegant! Using just clear embossing over this lovely tiffany cardstock. I also add a little bit of glitter to the center of the flower. :)

Summer Card Camp - Week Two - Day 2

Loved day two! All the techniques were focusing in heat embossing. So for this assignment i did the Ombre effect, wich is using 3 shades of embossing powder. I used the same color combo as day one, and forget a little bit about the sketches. I really loved the result of the card, i can't get enough of this doily stamp! i think it's so pretty!

Summer Card Camp - Week Two - Day 1

Oh my gosh! i'm 3 days late with my homework! i have to catch up this week!
For this first assignment, i chose sketch number 1.

Instead of using circle dies, i used the scallop ones, which i love btw! And also for the second layer I made a rosette. I like the look it gives, it makes the card pop, i guess it gives a little extra punch! :) Hope you like it!

Ps. Next month I'm celebrating my second year wedding anniversary! So i guess this is the card for my hubbie!

Summer Card Camp - Week One - Day 5

My first week of Card Camp is over! I couldn't catch up with all the homework :O But here is my card for day 5, i made a Thinking of You window card! Love this new technique; embossed acetate!

Next Project..a Baby Shower!

Here is a sneak peek of my next project i'm working on! I was asked to make decorated cookies for these event and also a few party decorations. So i'm just getting started! Will post soon!

Este es un pequeño adelanto del proyecto en el que estoy trabajando ahorita! Tengo que decorar galletas y hacer parte de la decoración del evento. Así que bueno, esto apenas empieza!

Summer Card Camp - Week One - Day 2

Hi! This is the card i made for day two! Still using the same color combo and I tried a new stamping technique that is inking with masking also with the help of my Stamp a ma Jig. I embossed the card stock and the liner of the envelope. Also I used some powder embossing for the sentiment and flowers, love the way it gives a finished looked!

Summer Card Camp - Week One

Yesterday was the first day of Summer Card Camp! I feel like when i was in college attending afternoon lessons and doing homework during the summer!

But this time is even better! ;)

The first class was packed of ideas and new techniques that i haven't tried before. So i am pretty excited about the results of the course and all the cards i am going to have at the end of these 3 weeks!

Here is my first card based on the color scheme and the sketches they provided.

Summer Card Camp!

I am thrilled to tell you that tomorrow starts the three week Summer Card Camp!
I am looking forward for a creativity boost and a lot of new techniques.

First Day blogging!

Today is my first day actually blogging, and i love sharing with you one of my latest crafts i just did with my cuttlebug. These are a pair of bookmarks i made for my mom and I.

First i did some powder embossing to a plain cardstock, and after that did the embossing through the cuttlebug. I loved the distressed looked it gave the paper!
